Olivier Onghena – ‘t Hooft in Conversation with Belgian Minister Annelies Verlinden

We want political leaders to uplift society – especially those people who are less informed and more vulnerable to populist information – and stop the mass-‘stupidization’.

The presence of noble purpose in (Belgian) politics is something that we have been researching since over a year through meaningful and no taboo conversations with the political establishment of our country.

We are meeting with all the presidents of the political parties, with a representative number of political leaders from each of the parties, and with a representative group of high impact leaders that are impacting/being impacted by politics.

Our assumption is that society needs more collective driven political noble purpose and less short term driven media-show that helps individual scores. We want political leaders to uplift society – especially those people who are less informed and more vulnerable to populist information – and stop the mass-‘stupidization’.

We will publish my findings and conclusions before the coming elections, with the intention that the topic of noble purpose in politics is being widely spread and talked about. And by that that awareness comes and actions are taken.

As part of our interview series Olivier Onghena – ‘t Hooft ,Founder / Executive Chairman had an inspiring conversation with Belgian Minister Annelies Verlinden holding the portfolio of Interior Affairs, Institutional Reform and Democratic Renewal.

More info and news to come in the coming weeks and months!
